A$AP Ferg forms part of A$AP Mob (alongside A$AP Rocky and A$AP Bari to name a few). His most notable single to date being “Shabba” in which he raps “skinny nigga but ma dick long”.
This rap persona that has led him to become a firm feature with front row seats at fashion weeks across the globe. This has brought him back to his original passion before rapping; design.
His clothing line “Traplord” have just dropped a collaboration; a ten piece capsule collection with “Uniform”. This collaboration of street-wear cool with sustainability aims to benefit children in Africa as it is ethically produced in the continent giving a uniform to each student per purchase. Ferg told Vogue that the aesthetic of Traplord was built on the fact that he himself didn’t have anything and he wants the kid’s that they are lords and that they can become the highest of the high.
3 Fashion Highlights from the Collection:
Yellow: being one of the colours of S/S 17 these trousers are the perfect sport luxe addition to an outfit. This colour was featured on both the Versus Versace and J.W. Anderson runways to name just a few for the season.
Cap: It’s all about the cap and this version is one of my favorites of the season, keeping it black makes it the perfect combination for any outfit. The lettering on the cap gives it the perfect Harlem edge.
Jumpsuit: Chloe and Acne Studios both highlighted this trend with more biker looks but the A$AP Ferg and Uniform collaboration gives us a casual khaki one piece. The colour gives it even more wearability and is the perfect colour for spring/summer.
